    Bio-Rad is looking for a EMEA Marketing Manager, Clinical Diagnostics, 100% based in the European Headquarter in Basel, Switzerland. 

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead EMEA Clinical Diagnostics marketing team to foster customer focused product management, strategically aligned regional planning, impactful tactical plan implementation and KPI guided performance management
    • Translate global strategy into appropriate go-to-market strategy addressing regional diversity
    • Shape tactical plans for EMEA to grow regional Sales and Profitability based on regional market assessment
    • Ensure continuous generation of leads and customer request for clinical diagnostic product portfolio
    • Work closely with EMEA Customer Engagement and sales teams to align strategies and implement tactics


    • Lead and develop the team of product / marketing managers located at key locations across EMEA
    • Establish market evaluation and derive appropriate strategy for EMEA
    • Define product, price, place and promotional program for the clinical diagnostics portfolio
    • Collaborate closely with EMEA Marketing teams to achieve alignment on standard marketing methods and  programs supportive to clinical diagnostics strategy
    • Develop and communicate yearly tactical plan for Clinical Diagnostics portfolio in EMEA
    • Prioritize products, growth initiatives and customer segments
    • Develop quarterly promotional plans
    • Implement quarterly activities, provide appropriate level of trainings and provide selling tools
    • Monitor activity implementation, performance indicators and corresponding growth in sales and profit
    • Support EMEA Clinical Diagnostics sales directors to maximize growth of sales and profit in their region
    • Support the regional sales managers and local sales teams by applying EMEA standard marketing activities complemented with regional/country specific activities to ensure local needs
    • Manage collaboration with Clinical Diagnostics global divisions in EU and US
    • Provide EMEA market evaluation and customer needs to global teams
    • Align global with regional strategy and influence divisional products developments
    • Stimulate the development of impactful global tactics / programs / training suitable for EMEA markets


    • MBA, MSc or PhD degree in a scientific discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.
    • 10 to 15 years of sales, marketing and/or business development experience in clinical diagnostics
    • 5 to 10 years of sales or marketing team management in multicultural environment.
    • Proven track record in achieving product / portfolio growth, developing marketing strategies, and implementing tactical/operational plan and impactful programs
    • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with internal/external customers
    • Fluent in English, with ideally a 2nd European language (French, German)
    • Required to travel within the EMEA region as required (25%)
